Confused? Don’t know what to say or know how to get started on doing the work? Here’s a small list of resources to help get your started on your journey of DOING THE WORK of unpacking white privilege. These resources will help you learn about what white privilege is and give you ideas on how you can start the work in your own every day life.
Please note, this is just a small list of resources to help get you started. There are MANY more other resources out there for you to learn from. Part of doing the work means seeking out resources on your own that will continue to teach you on how you can be a better human and unpack your white privilege. My goal for creating this list is to start the conversation, inspire you to get started on doing the work and amplify amazing black women educators. There are a couple of white people on my resource list and that’s because their message inspired me on my own learning journey and I thought was worthy of sharing. As I continue my own daily journey of doing this work, I’ll continue to add new resources I come across to this list.
This is work every single white person needs to do every single day. Not just one day a week or while it’s trending. This will be a lifelong education for us. Listen, Read, Educate Yourself, Invest In The Experts, Take Action and Do The Work!
